Absolute gem, disguised as an “ordinary” park. From the street, it doesnt appear to be anything too special. But if you park and proceed on foot, it’s an entire different story. Beautiful scenery, spectacular bridge, plenty of isolated trails, and a small hot spring! Even more amazing, its FREE!
I visited Zandee Gallery for the first time recently. I was immediately greeted by impressive and vast landscapes that covered the walls. The artwork will transport you into the scenery that has been captured excellently. Located at the base of the Steamboat Springs ski area, this gallery offers the perfect escape from the bustling ski town.
Friendly staff, genuine artist, handmade frames, beautiful photos, and bombproof crate in which the art was delivered across several states. A Steamboat original.
We held our bridal tea here last Oct (2018) and it was perfect for the event! Small & quaint, yet had a full size kitchen and bathrooms. Affordable!! Arranging use & the staff was easy to work with. Highly recommend for your event.
Very interesting. Has history of early settlers. Ski history. I always enjoy old photos from 1900’s. We spent an hour or so. Be sure to.go upstairs, rifles and an amazing bear trap. Early kitchen stove was something!
This is a small and lovely museum. When we attended they had local art on display. There were four rooms one dedicated to younger artists. Next door they have a small but interesting museum gift shop with intriguing gifts including jewelry made by a local artist.
We had a lot of fun on our down day in Steamboat Springs. The family loved the mini golf course and the kids had a great time in the maze. We’ll definitely go back when we visit this town again. 5/5 would recommend.
Downtown Steamboat Springs is not to be missed! It’s a wonderful few blocks of art galleries, shopping, restaurants, bars, all along the Yampa river. I always take the opportunity to spend a day downtown.
Another of our family traditions! Saddleback does all kinds of great activities – we’ve always gone for the snow tubing and then the sleigh ride to steak dinner. So much fun!
