Transitioning into an early retirement after 35 years in engineering and construction in the energy sector, I’ve redirected my passion towards Distilled Destinations. Throughout my roles in project and corporate management, I’ve cultivated guiding principles anchored in people-centric leadership, transparency, and unwavering accountability. A lifelong learner, continuous improvement has been a constant thread weaving through all my business ventures.
Beyond the office, my love for the outdoors fuels me. Whether skiing, hiking mountain trails, or boating on Canyon Lake TX, I find joy and reset when I’m in nature. I am a very proud mom of an adult son Jackson, who while very successful on his own also helps with all aspects of the business, travels with me often, and shares my deep love of baseball!
As the owner of Distilled Destinations, I curate unique experiences at four luxury properties: Whiskey Ridge in Steamboat, CO, Whiskey Sands in Orange Beach, AL, Whiskey River in New Braunfels, TX, and Whiskey Hills in Mars Hill, NC. Retirement, for me, isn’t about slowing down; it’s about blending my love for real estate, hosting, design, and travel into the most fun part of my career, but without a 9-5 structure. It’s been amazing! Each property is so unique and I have loved putting them together. I’ve always had a love for art, and I’ve curated beautiful original art in each property. I’m dedicated to creating spaces that go beyond a stay—they are canvases for design, stages for family and friends, and gateways for travelers seeking an unparalleled experience.
